Deadly Pleasures -- "Real to Reel" columns
In the December / January 2008 magazine of Mystery News, I began a column called "Real to Real." Taking a "real" book and then considering the film or "reel" that came from the story. I began coordinating a group in San Antonio over eleven years ago and presently we meet in our home once a month. We read a specific book and then watch the film together. In this column, I share some of the richness with the readers to consider reading or re-reading the book and then watching the film. Some might want to accomplish this in a small group format. This column appeared in Mystery News until they ceased publication two years later.
